Job summary

LabCorp, a global leader in diagnostic testing and healthcare innovation, seeks a Phlebotomy Supervisor to oversee teams across Patient Service Centers and physician offices. You will manage patient flow, service quality, scheduling, payroll, and performance appraisals, ensuring top-tier patient care.

Ideal candidates have at least 3 years phlebotomy experience and 1 year of supervisory experience, with strong communication and customer service skills.

Qualifications

• High school diploma, GED, or equivalent.
• At least 1 year of supervisory or people‑leader experience.
• At least 3 years of phlebotomy experience.

Responsibilities

• Supervise a team of over 25 phlebotomists in Patient Service Centers or physician offices.
• Manage patient flow, wait times, inventory levels, and information logs.
• Monitor monthly productivity and report deviations.
• Coordinate phlebotomists’ schedules and perform operational duties such as payroll and performance appraisals.
• Partner with Human Resources on employee relations and disciplinary actions.
• Hire and train new phlebotomists.
• Communicate effectively with internal and external customers, including patients, client office staff, sales teams, logistics, and senior management.
• Provide exceptional customer service and resolve patient/client issues.
• Assist in setting up new Patient Service Centers or Client Offices.
• Collect, prepare, and perform specimen processing as needed.
• Travel to additional sites as required.
