Job summary

Talentify in Rockwall, TX is seeking a Phlebotomist II for a 3-month contract. This onsite role runs 8:00 AM–1:00 PM, Monday–Friday, with travel between locations as needed to cover Patient Service Centers and in-office phlebotomy. Pay rate ranges from $19.38 to $22.53 per hour (USD).

The successful candidate will draw quality blood samples, prepare specimens for lab testing, and maintain accurate records while prioritizing patient comfort and safety. Overtime eligibility applies as required.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent is required.
• Medical training (medical assistant or paramedic) preferred.
• Phlebotomy certification preferred; required in CA, NV, and WA.

Responsibilities

• Under the area supervisor, perform daily activities accurately and on time.
• Maintain a safe and professional environment.
• Perform blood collection and processing following established procedures.
• Verify patient demographic info and initials post-venipuncture to confirm labels.
• Maintain required records and documentation.
• Demonstrate commitment and present a positive image to patients and staff.
