Job summary

Talentify is seeking a Phlebotomist II for a 3-month contract in Bellaire, TX. The role requires onsite work, with travel to multiple Patient Service Center locations.

You will perform venipuncture, prepare specimens for lab testing, and maintain accurate records under supervision. The ideal candidate has 1–3 years of phlebotomy experience, a high school diploma, and phlebotomy certification where applicable.

Qualifications

• 1–3 years phlebotomy experience including pediatric/geriatric.
• Phlebotomy certification preferred; required in California, Nevada, and Washington.
• High school diploma or equivalent required.

Responsibilities

• Under the direction of the area supervisor, perform daily activities accurately and on time.
• Maintain a safe and professional environment.
• Perform blood collection and processing duties following established practices and procedures.
• Verify patient demographic info and initials post-venipuncture to ensure proper labeling.
• Maintain required records and documentation.
• Demonstrate organizational commitment and professionalism to patients and staff.
