Job summary

Talentify is seeking a Phlebotomist II for an onsite contract in Flower Mound, TX. The assignment covers multiple Patient Service Center locations with rotating Saturdays and a 7-4 schedule.

You will draw blood, prepare samples for lab testing, verify patient information, and maintain accurate records while following safety policies. A high school diploma is required; phlebotomy certification is preferred; 1–3 years of phlebotomy experience is expected.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent — REQUIRED.
• Medical training: medical assistant or paramedic training preferred.
• Phlebotomy certification preferred. Required in California, Nevada, and Washington.

Responsibilities

• Under the direction of the area supervisor, perform daily activities accurately and on time.
• Maintain a safe and professional environment.
• Performs with confidence, both the forensic and clinical specimen collection and processing duties following established practices and procedures.
• Verify patient demographic info and initials post-venipuncture to ensure correct labeling.
• Maintain required records and documentation.
• Demonstrate organizational commitment and promote a positive image to patients and staff.
