Talentify seeks a Phlebotomist II for a 1-month, onsite contract in Grand Prairie, TX. The role involves drawing blood, preparing specimens for lab testing, and providing a safe, professional patient experience.

Travel to multiple locations is required, with a schedule from 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM, and must have a HS diploma, phlebotomy experience (pediatric and geriatric), TX credentials, and applicable certifications. Pay is $19.38–$22.53 per hour (USD).

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent — Required.
• Medical training: medical assistant or paramedic training — preferred.
• Phlebotomy certification — preferred. Required in California, Nevada, and Washington.
• TX state credentials/licenses required.

Responsibilities

• Under the direction of the area supervisor, perform daily activities accurately and on time.
• Maintain a safe and professional environment.
• Perform with confidence, both the forensic and clinical specimen collection and processing duties following established practices and procedures.
• Verification of patient demographic info / initials including patient signature post-venipure to verify tubes were labeled in their presence and that the name on the label is correct.
• Maintain required records and documentation.
• Demonstrate organizational commitment and promotes a positive image to patients, clients, employees and the public in general.
