Job summary

Froedtert Health in Milwaukee, WI seeks a skilled phlebotomist to perform phlebotomy and related clerical tasks on-site. This full-time role involves 40 hours weekly with a 08:00–16:30 schedule and rotating weekends, holidays, and on-call duties.

Minimum requirements include a phlebotomy program completion or related healthcare experience, and ASC P certification is preferred. A High School diploma or equivalent is preferred, with opportunities for growth within Froedtert Health.

Qualifications

• Completion of an approved Phlebotomy program or related health care experience including direct patient contact is required.
• Phlebotomy experience with a minimum of 100 venipunctures preferred.
• ASCP certification preferred.
• High School diploma or equivalent preferred.

• Shift Details: 0800-1630, 5 shifts per week with weekend rotation and on-call rotations.

Shift Details:

0800-1630, 5 shifts per week including weekend rotation (hours of 0600-1430), also includes holiday and on call rotations.

Job Summary:

Responsible for performing phlebotomy and various technical, non technical, and clerical functions.

EXPERIENCE DESCRIPTION:

Completion of an approved Phlebotomy program or related health care experience including direct patient contact is required. Phlebotomy experience with a minimum of 100 venipunctures is preferred.

EDUCATION DESCRIPTION:

High School diploma or equivalent is preferred.

SPECIAL SKILLS DESCRIPTION:

Ability to read and write necessary to comprehend and follow equipment operating instructions, IFUs and complete required documentation. Basic arithmetic calculations necessary to count instruments and complete count sheets are required. Basic computer, problem-solving and good communication skills are required.

LICENSURE DESCRIPTION:

ASCP certification is preferred.
