Froedtert West Bend Hospital in Wisconsin is seeking a Phlebotomy Technician to join our on-site team. The role involves performing phlebotomy and related technical, clerical duties to support patient care.
Completion of an approved phlebotomy program or related healthcare experience is required, with a preference for those having at least 100 venipunctures. ASCP certification is preferred. This position supports PTO shifts and weekend coverage as needed.

Shift: Shift 4
Shift Details: Every other weekend. Normal hours 0500-1330. Will need to fill in on 2nd shift, 1330-2200, occasionally to cover PTO.
Responsible for performing phlebotomy and various technical, non technical, and clerical functions.
Completion of an approved Phlebotomy program or related health care experience including direct patient contact is required. Phlebotomy experience with a minimum of 100 venipunctures is preferred.
High School diploma or equivalent is preferred.
Ability to read and write necessary to comprehend and follow equipment operating instructions, IFU, and complete required documentation. Basic arithmetic calculations necessary to count instruments and complete count sheets are required. Basic computer, problem-solving, and good communication skills are required.
ASCP certification is preferred.
