Froedtert Health in Manitowoc, WI, is seeking a Phlebotomist for an on-site casual position at the Froedtert Holy Family Memorial Hospital facility. This role requires handling phlebotomy procedures and related clerical tasks across shifts, including call-outs and PTO coverage.

• Responsible for performing phlebotomy and various technical, non technical, and clerical functions.
• Accurately document procedures and maintain patient records.
• Assist with supplies, equipment and workflow on the phlebotomy area.

Job Summary

Experience Description

Completion of an approved Phlebotomy program or related health care experience including direct patient contact is required. Phlebotomy experience with a minimum of 100 venipunctures is preferred.

Education Description

High School diploma or equivalent is preferred.

Special Skills Description

Ability to read and write necessary to comprehend and follow equipment operating instructions, IFUs and complete required documentation. Basic arithmetic calculations necessary to count instruments and complete count sheets are required. Basic computer, problem-solving and good communication skills are required.

Licensure Description

ASCP certification is preferred.
