Job Title: Phlebotomist III - Floater
Shift/Time Zone: Monday-Friday 8am-5pm
Location: Atlanta GA
Duration: 5+ Months extendable contract
Responsibilities:
- The Phlebotomist III- Float draws quality blood samples from patients, following established practices and procedures.
- Provides coverage at multiple locations, ensuring timely completion of daily activities in various settings.
- Builds trust with patients, explaining procedures clearly and performing blood draws safely and accurately.
- Leads and mentors on-site staff, providing onboarding and ongoing support.
- Handles complex test orders, collaborates with multiple departments, and manages multiple priorities in high-volume environments.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent; medical assistant or paramedic training preferred.
- Phlebotomy certification preferred; required in CA, NV, WA.
- Minimum 3 years of phlebotomy experience, including pediatric, geriatric, and capillary collections.
- Experience in a Patient Service Center environment preferred.
- Strong customer service, communication, and data entry skills.
Additional Requirements:
- Reliable transportation; candidates must be within a 20-25 min commute.
- Availability to work scheduled shifts, punctuality, and full shift coverage essential.
- No excessive absenteeism or tardiness; adherence to schedule is mandatory.
