Job summary

PathGroup is seeking a Patient Services Technician/Phlebotomist to perform venipuncture and specimen collection in a fast-paced PSC/IOPST environment. The role requires accurate data entry and courteous patient interaction, with strict adherence to safety protocols.

Responsibilities include specimen handling, proper labeling, and daily record-keeping, with a focus on timeliness and quality. The position is on-site with standard M-F 8a-5p schedule.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED preferred.
• Phlebotomist Certification is preferred. (Required in Louisiana).
• At least 1 year of prior job-related experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Greets customers and provides courteous service.
• Ensures specimens are collected accurately and on time.
• Enter patient and billing information into PathConnect.
• Label, centrifuge, and process specimens per test orders.
• Maintain records and logs for PSC/IOPST.
• Adhere to PPE and lab safety procedures.
