Job summary

Talentify is seeking an Entry Phlebotomist I for Greenville, NC location, focusing on welcoming patients, managing the lobby, and supporting phlebotomy teams with basic collection tasks in a clinical research setting.

You will assist with check-ins, maintain waiting areas, ensure confidentiality, and learn procedures under supervision. A high school diploma and some phlebotomy exposure are required, with 1-2 years of customer-facing experience encouraged.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Phlebotomy experience required, even if just an intern/externship to learn the basics.
• Minimum of 1–2 years of client-facing customer service required (Retail, Home Health Aide, etc.).
• Some Phlebotomy experience is required.
• Keyboard/data entry experience a must.

Responsibilities

• Greeting patients upon arrival and answering questions with care and compassion.
• Help maintain the waiting area and assist with breaks when other phlebotomists are unavailable.
• Utilize phlebotomy skills to grow within the company.
• Create an atmosphere of trust and confidence by explaining what to expect to patients regarding procedures.
• Under supervision, perform daily activities accurately and on time and maintain a safe environment.
