• Experience labeling specimens and handling centrifugation.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite.
• High School Diploma or GED required.

Responsibilities

• Assist in performing duties, troubleshoot, train staff, and improve workflow.
• Collect and store specimens per procedures.
• Explain venipuncture process clearly to patients.
• Demonstrate collection techniques with straight or butterfly needles.
• Match requisitions to specimen tubes; label and process samples.
• Package specimens for transport and store per protocol.
• Enter patient demographics and release lab orders.
