Qualifikationen

• High School Diploma or Equivalent required.
• Phlebotomy Technician Certification or DPT(ASCP) preferred for credentialing.
• Progressive leadership experience in donor centers or mobile drives is valued.

Aufgaben

• Lead donor center staff, supervise daily operations, and train new technicians.
• Interview donors and determine eligibility per SOPs and consent requirements.
• Perform blood collection and apheresis with sterile technique; label specimens correctly.
• Conduct daily quality control and equipment documentation; ensure regulatory compliance.
• Oversee donor flow on mobile drives and maintain supply inventories.
• Transport products following safety and infection control policies; maintain clean work area.
• Act as preceptor and provide staff education and in-services.
• Collaborate with charge nurse and colleagues to ensure teamwork and patient care.
