Job summary

McLaren Health Care is seeking a patient-focused phlebotomy technician to process and label specimens, assist technologists, and maintain lab equipment. You will enter orders, verify patient data, and follow infection-control policies while supporting donor screening and clerical tasks as needed.

Qualifications include a high school diploma and phlebotomy training; ASCP-BOC certification is preferred. Schedule is full-time with early morning hours and weekend rotation.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent is required.
• Phlebotomy training or certificate/ diploma is required.
• Experience in a laboratory setting or medical office is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Process and label specimens for testing.
• Enter test orders into hospital/lab information system.
• Assist with blood draws and specimen processing.
• Maintain supplies, equipment, and records per policies.
• Answer calls, report results, and assist with donor screening when needed.
