McLaren Health Care is seeking a Laboratory Patient Service Center Specialist to support daily operations in our patient service centers. You will collect specimens, register patients, order tests, and ensure proper handling and transport of samples within the hospital lab network.

Ideal candidates have a high school diploma and at least 6 months phlebotomy experience; certification as a phlebotomy tech is preferred. Full-time, daytime schedule with ABN compliance responsibilities.

Competenze

• High school diploma or equivalent is required.
• At least 6 months of phlebotomy experience.
• Preferred certification as a phlebotomy technician.
• Prior phlebotomy training or clinical laboratory experience preferred.

Mansioni

• Perform specimen collection and handling following procedures.
• Register patients and enter test orders into HIS/LIS.
• Prepare and transport specimens to the appropriate area.
• Obtain informed consent for treatment and present ABN when appropriate.
• Maintain compliance with hospital policies and safety standards.
