Qualifications

• Six months of phlebotomy experience.

Responsibilities

• Extracts blood from patients and performs phlebotomy procedures according to established technique.
• Accession and process specimens for testing with proper labeling and documentation.
• Enter patient demographics and test orders accurately; verify receipt and completeness.
• Maintain patient safety with proper patient identification and double checks against orders.
• Package and transport specimens per policy; ensure timely delivery to the lab.
