UMass Memorial Health – Milford Campus is seeking a Lab Support Tech I to greet patients, perform phlebotomy including blood cultures and swabbing, and support specimen processing and test ordering. Formación

• High School Diploma or equivalent required.
• ASCP certification or eligibility preferred.
• Phlebotomy experience and computer proficiency are desirable.
• Fluent English communication skills essential.

Responsabilidades

• Specimen collection using venipuncture across age groups.
• Receive, label, prioritize and transport specimens per protocol.
• Register courier-delivered specimens and troubleshoot printer issues.
• Demonstrate mastery of hospital information systems and test ordering.
• Answer, transfer, and cover incoming lab calls to ensure continuous service.
