Job summary

TriCore Reference Laboratories is seeking a Clinical Lab Assistant Phlebotomist to work independently with minimal supervision at University Hospital. The role involves performing multiple modalities, on-call responsibilities, and rotating weekend shifts.

Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Performs duties in a professional and courteous manner
• Maintains supplies and inventory
• Observe students and/or new staff as needed
• Exhibits basic problem solving skills for customer and patient care
• Responsible for hospital communications including on-call duties
• Demonstrates effective telephone and verbal communication
• Maintains confidentiality of information
• Participate in on-call coverage and weekend/holiday coverage
• Basic PC skills
