Qualifications

• Completion of a relevant Clinical Lab Assistant or comparable program preferred.

Responsibilities

• Performs duties in a professional and courteous manner.
• Maintains supplies and inventory necessary to perform departmental functions.
• Observation and training of students or new staff as needed.
• Exhibits problem solving to ensure patient care and service levels.
• Handles on-call responsibilities and hospital communication as assigned.
• Maintains confidentiality of personal and confidential information.
• Participates in on-call coverage during holidays, evenings and weekends as needed.
• Performs basic clerical duties and documents critical communications when supervisor is unavailable.
