Job summary

Advocate Health Cleveland Lab is hiring for a full-time phlebotomy role. The position involves collecting blood by venipuncture/capillary methods, processing specimens, and supporting patient care operations in a fast-paced lab.

Shift is 0300am-1130am, Monday through Friday. The role requires accuracy, adherence to safety protocols, and ability to train new staff as needed. Competitive benefits and compensation are provided by Advocate Health.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required; Phlebotomy certification preferred.
• Knowledge of laboratory techniques and equipment.
• Ability to perform phlebotomy and handle specimens.

Responsibilities

• Collects blood via venipuncture and capillary puncture.
• Prepares and processes nonblood specimens.
• Assists in specimen preparation, receipt, and transport of specimens.
• Performs patient registration and provides phone support.
• Maintains PPE, cleanliness, and equipment.
