Food Management Search, Inc. is seeking a Phlebotomist for a contract position in the Bloomington, IN area. The role requires travel to Bloomington and surrounding locales with a daytime M-F schedule and a 3-month project duration, with potential for permanent placement.

Responsibilities include blood draws, specimen labeling, processing, and accurate data entry while adhering to OSHA/DEP regulations. Valid phlebotomy certification and at least 6 months of venipuncture experience are required.

Qualifications

• Valid Phlebotomy certification for the state where you will be employed.
• Minimum of 6 months' work experience performing venipunctures in a fast paced lab or hospital setting.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite.

Responsibilities

• Perform blood draws and specimen labeling.
• Centrifuge and process specimens per procedure.
• Record maintenance data and update patient information.
• Explain venipuncture and specimen collection procedures to patients clearly.
• Package specimens for transport and ensure proper storage temperatures.
• Follow OSHA and DEP regulations and participate in trainings.
