SteveRecruiter, LLC is seeking a Phlebotomist for a contract role in Bloomington, Indiana, with float duties to nearby sites. The position runs 8am-5pm, Monday to Friday, for an initial 3 months with potential for permanent placement.

Mileage reimbursement is provided and a clean driving record is required. Responsibilities include performing blood draws, labeling and processing specimens, and ensuring accurate documentation.

Qualifications

• Valid Phlebotomy certification for the state where employed.
• Minimum 6 months' venipuncture experience in fast-paced lab or hospital.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite.
• High School Diploma or GED required.

Responsibilities

• Perform blood draws and related specimen collection with care and accuracy.
• Label, centrifuge, and handle specimens per protocol and test orders.
• Explain venipuncture procedure clearly to patients and ensure safety standards.
• Maintain accurate records, transport specimens, and comply with OSHA/DEP regs.
• Attend trainings and support workflow improvements as needed.
