Job summary

Key People seeks a Phlebotomist for a contract role in Oceanside, CA. The position lasts about 3 months with potential for permanent placement. Schedule runs 6 AM to 6 PM, weekdays, with weekend rotation and mileage reimbursement. Must have venipuncture experience and a valid phlebotomy certification as required by state.

Qualifications

• Minimum 6 months' venipuncture experience in a fast-paced lab or hospital.
• Valid phlebotomy certification as required by state.
• High School Diploma or GED.

Responsibilities

• Perform blood draws, label specimens, centrifuge specimens, and document maintenance data.
• Explain venipuncture process clearly and courteously to patients.
• Package and transport specimens; ensure proper temperature and labeling.
