Qualifications

• Valid Phlebotomy certification for the state where you will be employed.
• Minimum of 6 months' work experience performing venipunctures in a fast paced lab or hospital setting.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite.
• High School Diploma or GED

Responsibilities

• Perform blood draws and label specimens accurately.
• Centrifuge specimens and maintain proper records.
• Update patient information and ensure correct test requisitions.
• Explain venipuncture procedures clearly to patients.
• Follow OSHA regulations and transport specimens as required.
