Job summary

Labcorp is hiring a Phlebotomist for a client site in Weaverville, NC. The role supports blood collection, specimen processing and patient service at a standard weekday schedule.

You will also handle data entry, billing support, and documentation while representing Labcorp with professionalism. The ideal candidate has phlebotomy certification or training and strong communication and customer service skills.

Qualifications

• Phlebotomy certification or completed training program or 3 months or more experience
• High school diploma or GED or equivalent
• Excellent customer service and communication skills
• Travel to additional sites when needed

Responsibilities

• Perform blood collections by venipuncture and capillary techniques for all age groups
• Collect specimens for drug screens, paternity tests, alcohol tests etc.
• Perform data entry of patient information in an accurate and timely manner
• Process billing information and collect payments when required
• Prepare all collected specimens for testing and analysis
• Maintain patient and specimen information logs
• Provide superior customer service to all patients
• Administrative and clerical duties as necessary
• Other Duties as assigned
