Job summary

Labcorp is seeking a Phlebotomist to join our Patient Service Center in Windsor, NC. You will perform skilled specimen collections, ensure accurate patient data entry, and provide exceptional customer service while representing Labcorp in a professional manner.

The role requires a high school diploma or equivalent and phlebotomy certification or training, or 6+ months of phlebotomy experience. Overtime may be required, and travel to other sites is possible.

Qualifications

• Phlebotomy certification or completed training program, or 6+ months experience as phlebotomist.
• Ability to pass a color blindness test.
• Flexibility to work overtime.

Responsibilities

• Perform blood collections by venipuncture and capillary techniques for all age groups.
• Collect specimens for drug screens, paternity tests, alcohol tests, etc.
• Enter patient data accurately and timely.
• Process billing information and collect payments when required.
• Prepare specimens for testing and analysis.
• Maintain patient and specimen logs.
• Provide superior customer service to patients.
• Travel to additional sites when needed.
