Job summary

Labcorp is hiring a Phlebotomist to join the team at a client site in Weaverville, NC. The role features a Monday–Friday schedule from 8:15am to 5:15pm and involves blood collection across age groups, specimen handling, and accurate data entry.

The successful candidate will perform venipuncture and capillary collections, support drug screens and tests, manage patient information, and provide excellent customer service while handling related administrative duties.

Qualifications

• High school diploma, GED, or equivalent.
• Phlebotomy certification or completion of an accredited training program, or at least 3 months of phlebotomy experience.
• Must pass a standardized color-blindness test.

Minimum Qualifications

• High school diploma, GED, or equivalent.
• Phlebotomy certification or completion of an accredited training program, or at least 3 months of experience as a phlebotomist.

Preferred Qualifications

• One year or more of phlebotomy experience.

Additional Job Standards

• Phlebotomy certification or training program must come from an accredited agency.
• Must pass a standardized color‑blindness test.
• Flexibility to work overtime as needed.
• Exceptional customer service and strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to work independently or as part of a team.
• Comfortable working under minimal supervision.
• Travel to additional sites when needed; reliable transportation required.

Sign‑On Bonus

$3,000.00 sign‑on bonus may be offered; PST’s may be eligible for participation in the PST Incentive Plan, which pays a quarterly bonus based on performance metrics.
