Job summary

Labcorp seeks a Phlebotomist to join a client site in Black Mountain, NC. You will perform venipuncture and capillary collections, collect specimens for various tests, and ensure accurate data entry and patient records.

You will also provide exceptional customer service and support billing processes as needed. The role includes daytime hours, travel to additional sites as required, and opportunities for growth within Labcorp.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Phlebotomy certification or completed training program; or 3+ months experience as phlebotomist.

Responsibilities

• Perform venipuncture and capillary blood collections for all age groups.
• Collect specimens for drug screens and other tests.
• Enter patient information accurately in the system.
• Process billing information and collect payments when required.
• Prepare specimens for testing and maintain logs and records.
• Provide excellent customer service to patients.
