Job summary

Labcorp is seeking a Phlebotomist to join our team in Windsor, NC. The role involves skilled blood collection, data entry, and providing excellent patient service in a patient service center environment.

We offer opportunities for growth within the organization and a schedule from Monday to Friday with some travel to other sites as needed. A phlebotomy credential or training is required, along with a high school diploma, and flexibility to work overtime if necessary.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Phlebotomy certification or complete training, or 6+ months experience.

Responsibilities

• Perform blood collections by venipuncture and capillary techniques for all age groups.
• Collect specimens for drug screens, paternity tests, alcohol tests, etc.
• Data entry of patient information accurately and timely.
• Process billing information and collect payments when required.
• Prepare collected specimens for testing and analysis.
• Maintain patient and specimen information logs.
• Provide superior customer service to all patients.
• Travel to additional sites as needed.
