Job summary

Labcorp is seeking a Phlebotomist to join our team at a client site in Asheville, NC. The role involves performing skilled blood collections, providing excellent patient service, and maintaining accurate specimen records.

Schedule is Mon–Fri, 8:00am–5:00pm, with opportunities for growth within a globally respected diagnostics leader. Responsibilities include specimen collection, data entry, and potential travel to additional sites as needed.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED or equivalent.
• Phlebotomy certification or completed training program.
• 3 months or more experience as a phlebotomist.

Responsibilities

• Perform blood collections by venipuncture and capillary techniques for all age groups.
• Collect specimens for drug screens, paternity tests, alcohol tests etc.
• Perform data entry of patient information in an accurate and timely manner.
• Process billing information and collect payments when required.
• Prepare all collected specimens for testing and analysis.
• Maintain patient and specimen information logs.
