Job summary

Labcorp is seeking a Phlebotomist to join our team at a client site in Black Mountain, NC. The schedule is Mon–Fri, 8:00am–5:00pm, with responsibilities including blood collections, specimen processing, and data entry. Strong customer service and accurate record-keeping are essential.

Minimum qualifications include a high school diploma or GED and phlebotomy certification or equivalent training; 1 year of phlebotomy experience is preferred. A $3,000 sign-on bonus is offered.

Qualifications

• Minimum: high school diploma or GED or equivalent.
• Phlebotomy certification or completed training program or 3+ months of phlebotomy experience.

Responsibilities

• Perform blood collections by venipuncture and capillary techniques for all age groups.
• Collect specimens for drug screens, paternity tests, alcohol tests, etc.
• Enter patient information accurately in the system.
• Process billing information and collect payments as needed.
• Prepare specimens for testing and analysis.
• Maintain logs for patient and specimen information.
• Provide superior customer service to all patients.
