Job summary

Labcorp seeks a Phlebotomist to join our team at a client site in Boone, NC. You will perform venipuncture, collect specimens, enter patient data, and assist with billing and specimen processing.

The role requires a high school diploma or GED, and phlebotomy certification or training; 0+ to 1 year of phlebotomy experience is preferred. Travel to additional sites may be necessary, with a Monday–Friday schedule and hourly lunch.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED or equivalent.
• Phlebotomy certification or completed training or 3+ months experience.
• Flexibility to travel to additional sites as needed.

Responsibilities

• Perform blood collections by venipuncture and capillary techniques for all ages.
• Collect specimens for drug screens, paternity tests, alcohol tests, etc.
• Data entry of patient information accurately and promptly.
• Process billing information and collect payments when required.
• Prepare specimens for testing and analysis.
• Maintain logs for patients and specimens.
• Provide superior customer service to all patients.
• Administrative and clerical duties as necessary.
• Other duties as assigned.
