Job Description

• The Phlebotomist Patient Services Representative (PSR I) is the face of the company to patients, handling routine health procedures and providing insights into health decisions.
• The PSR I draws quality blood samples, prepares specimens for lab testing, and follows established procedures.
• Creates an atmosphere of trust by explaining procedures and drawing blood safely, accurately, and skillfully.
• Demonstrates leadership, process excellence, confidentiality, and accuracy in handling patient information.

Job Responsibilities

• Maintain a safe and professional environment.
• Perform forensic and clinical specimen collection and processing confidently, following procedures.
• Maintain records and documentation.

Job Requirements

• Provide quality, error-free work in a fast-paced environment.
• Work independently with minimal supervision.
• Possess excellent phlebotomy skills, including pediatric and geriatric.
• Be flexible and available for weekends, holidays, on-call, and overtime.

Required Education

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Medical training preferred (medical assistant or paramedic).
• Phlebotomy certification preferred (required in CA, NV, WA).

Work Experience

• Minimum of 6 months of experience.
• Preferred: 1+ year of phlebotomy experience.
• Customer service experience in retail or service sectors preferred.
• Keyboard/data entry experience required.
