Job Title:

Phlebotomist Patient Services Representative

Contract Duration:

6 Months

Pay Range:

$18 - $21/hr

Work Type:

Onsite, 1st Shift

Location:

Hamilton Township, NJ

Schedule:

Monday through Friday 8:00 AM - 4:30 PM, and every 3rd Saturday 8:00 AM - 12:00 PM at a nearby patient service center

Job Description:

• The Patient Services Representative I (PSR I) serves as the face of the company to patients, assisting with health routines and health decisions.
• Draws quality blood samples, prepares specimens for lab testing, following established procedures.
• Creates a trusting environment with patients, explaining procedures and drawing blood safely and accurately.
• Displays leadership behaviors, focusing on process excellence, confidentiality, and accuracy of patient information.
• Performs daily activities accurately and punctually under supervision.
• Maintains a safe and professional environment.
• Handles forensic and clinical specimen collection and processing confidently, adhering to protocols.
• Maintains accurate records and documentation.
• Promotes a positive image and demonstrates organizational commitment to patients, clients, and the public.

Job Requirements:

• Ability to produce quality, error-free work in a fast-paced environment.
• Capable of working independently with minimal supervision.
• Excellent phlebotomy skills, including pediatric and geriatric.
• Flexible availability, including weekends, holidays, on-call, and overtime as needed.

Required Education:

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Medical training such as medical assistant or paramedic preferred.
• Phlebotomy certification preferred (required in California, Nevada, and Washington).

Work Experience:

• At least 6 months of experience required.
• Over 1 year of phlebotomy experience preferred.
• Customer service experience in retail or service sectors preferred.
• Keyboard/data entry experience is essential.
