Job Title: Phlebotomist Patient Services Representative

Contract Details:
  1. Duration: 3+ Months
  2. Work Type: Onsite, 1st Shift
  3. Location: Media, PA
  4. Schedule: 6:30 am - 3:00 pm, Monday to Friday, Every Other Saturday 8 am - 12 pm
Job Description:

The Patient Services Representative II (PSR II) is the face of our company to patients, whether as part of their health routine or for critical health decisions. Responsibilities include drawing quality blood samples, preparing specimens for lab testing, and maintaining a professional, trustworthy environment. The role involves direct patient contact, explaining procedures, and ensuring confidentiality and accuracy of patient information. Depending on the need, assignments may be at a doctor's office, a patient service center, or other locations. Under supervision, perform daily tasks accurately, maintain safety standards, and follow established procedures for specimen collection and processing. Verify patient information, maintain records, and promote a positive image of the organization.

Job Requirements:
  1. Ability to produce quality, error-free work in a fast-paced environment.
  2. Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
  3. Excellent phlebotomy skills, including pediatric and geriatric.
  4. Flexibility to work weekends, holidays, on-call, and overtime as needed.
  5. Adherence to company policies, dress code, safety, and guiding principles.
  6. Good judgment and decision-making skills based on established procedures.
  7. Reliable transportation, valid driver’s license, and clean driving record if applicable.
  8. Willingness to travel and work at multiple locations with short notice.
  9. Ability to handle multiple priorities in a high-volume setting.
  10. Superior customer focus and effective communication skills.
  11. Training locations may vary based on trainer availability.
Education & Experience:
  • High school diploma or equivalent required.
  • Medical training (medical assistant or paramedic) preferred.
  • Phlebotomy certification preferred, especially in CA, NV, WA.
  • Minimum 3 years of phlebotomy experience, including pediatric, geriatric, and capillary collections.
  • Experience in a Patient Service Center environment preferred.
  • Customer service experience in retail or service sectors preferred.
  • Keyboard/data entry skills required.
