Job summary

Qualifications

• High School diploma or GED or higher.
• Phlebotomy certification (ASCP or equivalent) preferred.
• 1+ years lab PSC experience preferred.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Draw specimens by venipuncture and capillary technique for all ages.
• Validate and enter patient demographics and orders in the BILH system.
• Prepare specimens for transport to the BILH laboratory.
• Perform PSC daily opening/closing duties and clerical tasks.
• Travel to additional PSCs or doctor sites as needed.
