Job summary

Beth Israel Lahey Health is seeking a Patient Service Center Phlebotomist to perform specimen collections in our Primary Care practice and affiliated offices. You will be the face of the BILH Laboratories, delivering exceptional customer service and accurate data entry.

The role requires phlebotomy skills, strong communication, and attention to detail. Travel to other centers may be required, and you will participate in QA and ongoing training to ensure high patient satisfaction.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or GED required.
• Associate's degree welcomed.
• Phlebotomy certification preferred.
• 1+ year experience in lab PSC/phlebotomy preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide phlebotomy services for all patients.
• Validate/update patient demographics in BILH systems.
• Collect specimens via venipuncture or capillary methods for all ages.
• Prepare specimens for transport to BILH laboratories.
• Perform daily PSC operations and clerical duties.
• Travel to additional PSCs/doctor offices as needed.
• Follow departmental policies and QA programs.
• Report to Phlebotomy Supervisor and participate in training.
