Job summary

Beth Israel Lahey Health's Patient Service Center Phlebotomist role supports draw stations in primary care settings and medical office buildings. You will perform specimen collections, verify patient details in the BIS computer system, and ensure accurate data entry.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required; associate level coursework welcomed.
• Phlebotomy certification from ASCP or another agency preferred.
• One or more years of PSC phlebotomy experience preferred.
• Strong customer service and communication skills required.

Responsibilities

• Perform specimen collections by venipuncture and capillary techniques for all ages.
• Validate or enter patient demographics and lab orders into the BIS computer system.
• Prepare specimens for transport to the laboratory and maintain PSC operations.
• Travel to additional PSC sites as needed and support training for staff.
