Job summary

Labcorp seeks a Phlebotomist to join our Leesburg, VA team. You will perform skilled specimen collections in a Patient Service Center or Client office, delivering exceptional service while maintaining accurate records and handling billing processes.

The role offers weekday hours (Mon-Fri, 8:00am-5:00pm) and room for growth. The position requires a high school diploma or GED, phlebotomy certification or training, and strong customer service skills.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED or equivalent.
• Phlebotomy certification or completed training program or 3+ months experience.
• Strong customer service and communication skills.
• Must pass color blindness test.

Responsibilities

• Perform blood collections by venipuncture and capillary techniques for all age groups.
• Collect specimens for drug screens, paternity tests, alcohol tests, etc.
• Enter patient information accurately into the system.
• Process billing information and collect payments.
• Prepare specimens for testing and maintain logs.
• Provide superior customer service to all patients.
• Perform administrative and clerical duties as needed.
