Job summary

Labcorp is seeking a Phlebotomist to perform venipuncture and capillary collections across age groups, ensuring accurate data entry and timely processing. You will travel to different Patient Service Centers or client offices, providing first-class service and representing Labcorp professionally.

Minimum qualifications include a high school diploma or GED and phlebotomy certification or training, with a preference for 2+ years of phlebotomy experience.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED or equivalent.
• Phlebotomy certification or completed training program or 3 months or more experience as a phlebotomist.
• 2 years or more of phlebotomy experience.

Responsibilities

• Perform blood collections by venipuncture and capillary techniques for all age groups.
• Collect specimens for drug screens, paternity tests, alcohol tests etc.
• Perform data entry of patient information in an accurate and timely manner.
• Process billing information and collect payments as necessary.
• Prepare all collected specimens for testing and analysis.
• Maintain patient and specimen information logs.
• Provide superior customer service to all patients.
• Administrative and clerical duties as necessary.
• Travel to additional sites when needed.
