Job summary

Labcorp is seeking a Phlebotomist to join our team at 10296 Bend Rd. Saint Louis, MO. The role involves blood collection, specimen handling, and delivering high-quality patient service in a fast-paced environment.

The position requires a phlebotomy certification or training, high school diploma or GED, and flexibility to travel to additional sites. Work schedule is Monday–Friday, with rotating Saturdays, and opportunities for growth within Labcorp.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED or equivalent.
• Phlebotomy certification or completed training program or 3 months or more experience as a phlebotomist.
• 2 years or more of phlebotomy experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Perform blood collections by venipuncture and capillary techniques for all age groups.
• Collect specimens for drug screens, paternity tests, alcohol tests etc.
• Perform data entry of patient information in an accurate and timely manner
• Process billing information and collect payments as necessary
• Prepare all collected specimens for testing and analysis
• Maintain patient and specimen information logs
• Provide superior customer service to all patients
• Administrative and clerical duties as necessary
• Travel to additional sites when needed
