Labcorp is seeking a Phlebotomist to join our team in Fordland, MO. You will perform skilled specimen collections and be the face of Labcorp, delivering exceptional service to patients and supporting billing and data entry needs.

Equivalent phlebotomy training or certification is required, with a preference for Labcorp experience. This role offers weekday hours with potential for overtime and opportunities for growth within the organization.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent is required.
• Phlebotomy certification or completed training program must come from an accredited agency (as an alternative in lieu of work experience).
• Able to pass a standardized color blindness test.
• Strong communication skills; both written and verbal.
• Proven track record in providing exceptional customer service.
• Ability to work independently and in a team environment.
• Comfortable working under minimal supervision.
• Flexibility to work overtime as needed.

Responsibilities

• Perform blood collections by venipuncture and capillary techniques for all age groups.
• Collect specimens for drug screens, paternity tests, alcohol tests etc.
• Perform data entry of patient information in an accurate and timely manner.
• Process billing information and collect payments when required.
• Prepare all collected specimens for testing and analysis.
• Maintain patient and specimen information logs.
• Provide superior customer service to all patients.
• Administrative and clerical duties as necessary.
