Job summary

Labcorp is seeking a Phlebotomist to join our team in St. Peters, MO. The work schedule is Monday to Friday 7:30am–12:30pm with rotating Saturdays, providing patient blood collections and specimen handling.

You will perform venipuncture and capillary collections, enter patient data accurately, and support billing processes while delivering compassionate customer service. The role requires a high school diploma or GED; phlebotomy certification or training, or 3 months of experience; a passion for

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED or equivalent.
• Phlebotomy certification or completed training program or 3 months or more experience as a phlebotomist.
• Phlebotomy certification/training from an accredited agency.
• Strong customer service and communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Perform blood collections by venipuncture and capillary techniques for all age groups.
• Collect specimens for drug screens, paternity tests, alcohol tests etc.
• Perform data entry of patient information in an accurate and timely manner.
• Process billing information and collect payments as necessary.
• Prepare all collected specimens for testing and analysis.
• Maintain patient and specimen information logs.
• Provide superior customer service to all patients.
• Administrative and clerical duties as necessary.
• Travel to additional sites when needed.
