Job summary

Labcorp is seeking a Phlebotomist to join our team at 10296 Bend Rd. Saint Louis, MO. The role involves blood collection by venipuncture and capillary techniques for all ages, specimen handling, data entry, and providing excellent patient service.

Typical schedule is Monday–Friday, 8:00am–4:30pm with rotating Saturdays 8:00am–12:00pm. Phlebotomy certification or training or 3+ months of experience is required, with potential travel to additional sites as needed.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED or equivalent.
• Phlebotomy certification or completed training program or 3+ months experience as a phlebotomist.

Responsibilities

• Perform blood collections by venipuncture and capillary techniques for all age groups.
• Collect specimens for drug screens, paternity tests, alcohol tests etc.
• Perform data entry of patient information in an accurate and timely manner.
• Process billing information and collect payments as necessary.
• Prepare all collected specimens for testing and analysis.
• Maintain patient and specimen information logs.
• Provide superior customer service to all patients.
• Administrative and clerical duties as necessary.
• Travel to additional sites when needed.
