Job summary

Labcorp is seeking a Phlebotomist to join our Saint Louis, MO team. The role involves blood collection, specimen processing, data entry, and delivering excellent patient service in a fast-paced clinical setting.

Minimum qualifications include a high school diploma or GED and phlebotomy certification or equivalent training. Experience with phlebotomy is valued, and travel to other sites may be required.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED or equivalent.
• Phlebotomy certification or completed training program or 3 months or more experience as a phlebotomist.
• 2 years or more of phlebotomy experience (preferred).

Responsibilities

• Perform blood collections by venipuncture and capillary techniques for all age groups.
• Collect specimens for drug screens, paternity tests, alcohol tests etc.
• Perform data entry of patient information in an accurate and timely manner.
• Process billing information and collect payments as necessary.
• Prepare all collected specimens for testing and analysis.
• Maintain patient and specimen information logs.
• Provide superior customer service to all patients.
• Administrative and clerical duties as necessary.
• Travel to additional sites when needed.
