Job summary

Labcorp is seeking a Phlebotomist to join our team in St. Louis, MO. The role involves blood collection by venipuncture and capillary techniques for all ages, handling specimens for various tests, accurate data entry, and maintaining logs. Travel to additional sites may be required.

Minimum qualifications include a high school diploma or GED and phlebotomy certification or training or 3+ months experience. Prior phlebotomy experience is preferred.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED or equivalent.
• Phlebotomy certification or completed training program or 3 months or more experience as a phlebotomist.
• 1 year or more phlebotomy experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Perform blood collections by venipuncture and capillary techniques for all age groups.
• Collect specimens for drug screens, paternity tests, alcohol tests etc.
• Perform data entry of patient information in an accurate and timely manner.
• Process billing information and collect payments as necessary.
• Prepare all collected specimens for testing and analysis.
• Maintain patient and specimen information logs.
• Provide superior customer service to all patients.
• Administrative and clerical duties as necessary.
• Travel to additional sites when needed.
