Job summary

Labcorp in Saint Clair Shores, MI is seeking a Phlebotomist to join our Patient Service Center team. The role involves blood collection, data entry, specimen handling, and customer service in a fast-paced clinical setting.

The position supports growth within Labcorp and offers opportunities to work across sites with a focus on quality testing and patient care. A phlebotomy certification or relevant training is required, with additional incentive opportunities available.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED or equivalent.
• Phlebotomy certification or completed training program or 3 months or more experience as a phlebotomist.
• Preferred: 1 year or more phlebotomy experience in outpatient lab environment.

Responsibilities

• Perform blood collections by venipuncture and capillary techniques for all age groups.
• Collect specimens for drug screens, paternity tests, alcohol tests etc.
• Perform data entry of patient information in an accurate and timely manner.
• Process billing information and collect payments as necessary.
• Prepare all collected specimens for testing and analysis.
• Maintain patient and specimen information logs.
• Provide superior customer service to all patients.
• Administrative and clerical duties as necessary.
• Travel to additional sites when needed.
