Labcorp is seeking a Phlebotomist to join our team in Farmington Hills, MI. You will perform blood collections for all ages, collect specimens for various tests, and ensure accurate data entry and billing processing.

This role emphasizes exceptional patient service and teamwork within a client office. Ideal candidates will have a high school diploma or GED, 1 year of phlebotomy experience, and a phlebotomy certification or accredited training program.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED or equivalent.
• 1 year or more of phlebotomy experience.
• Phlebotomy certification from an accredited agency preferred or training program completed.

Responsibilities

• Perform blood collections by venipuncture and capillary techniques.
• Collect specimens for drug screens, paternity tests, alcohol tests, etc.
• Data entry of patient information accurately and timely.
• Process billing information and collect payments as necessary.
• Prepare all collected specimens for testing and analysis.
• Maintain patient and specimen information logs.
• Provide superior customer service to patients.
• Administrative and clerical duties as needed.
• Travel to additional sites as required.
