Job summary

Labcorp in Howell, NJ is seeking a Phlebotomist to join our team. This role performs blood collections by venipuncture and capillary techniques across all ages, with daily scheduling from Monday to Saturday.

You will provide exceptional customer service, data entry of patient information, and assist with billing and specimen processing. Travel to additional sites may be required; accurate records and commitment to quality are essential.

Qualifications

• Phlebotomy skills and accurate patient data entry are required.
• Phlebotomy certification or accredited training preferred.
• Excellent communication and customer service abilities.

Responsibilities

• Perform blood collections by venipuncture and capillary techniques for all age groups.
• Collect specimens for drug screens, paternity tests, alcohol tests etc.
• Perform data entry of patient information in an accurate and timely manner.
• Process billing information and collect payments as necessary.
• Prepare all collected specimens for testing and analysis.
• Maintain patient and specimen information logs.
• Provide superior customer service to all patients.
• Administrative and clerical duties as necessary.
• Travel to additional sites when needed.
