Job summary

Labcorp in Howell, NJ is seeking a Phlebotomist to join our patient-centered team. You will perform blood collections, label samples accurately and ensure timely data entry, while delivering exceptional service at every patient interaction.

Working in a Patient Service Center or client site, you will contribute to test pipelines, uphold safety standards and teamwork, and participate in ongoing growth opportunities within Labcorp.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Phlebotomy certification or completed training program or 3+ months experience as phlebotomist.
• Preferred: 1 year or more phlebotomist experience.
• Strong customer service and communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Perform blood collections by venipuncture and capillary techniques for all age groups.
• Collect specimens for drug screens, paternity tests, alcohol tests, etc.
• Data entry of patient information accurately and timely.
• Process billing information and collect payments as necessary.
• Prepare specimens for testing and analysis.
• Maintain patient and specimen information logs.
• Provide superior customer service to all patients.
• Administrative and clerical duties as necessary.
• Travel to additional sites when needed.
